Forty Years of Sharino Rock & Roll - Dance/Concert
NOTE: As of March 13, tickets were less than 10 tickets left. Don't wait too long...
Saturday, April 5, join the Joe Sharino Band as they celebrate Forty Years Of Sharino Rock And Roll. It's been forty years since Joe began performing, so join Joe and the band at the Historic Del Monte Building in downtown Sunnyvale for this dance concert celebration. The band performs from 8 pm to 11 pm and doors open at 7pm. We'll be showing a video collage from all eras of Joe and the band's 40 year career and a special guest will be announced shortly. There will be a full bar for refreshments and everyone will have a seat. Seating is first come first served. No food will be served but several great restaurants are within walking distance of the venue. A very limited number of tickets will be sold and this show will probably sell out - so don't wait! Tickets are $30 in advance, $38 at the door (if available).
The video footage we'll be showing will include: 1978 footage from Fargo's in Mountain View 1980 footage from the Parlor in Campbell from an NBC TV news story 1982 footage from the Us Festival (250,000 people in attendance) 1984 Joe's legendary MTV video: "I Wanna Be President" 1993 footage from New Year's Eve's Eve at the Cocoanut Grove 2003 footage from Dancin' On The Avenue in Willow Glen 2006 footage from Dancin' On The Avenue in Willow Glen
NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
Dress for this event is business casual.
