Dust of War
An alien invasion left the Earth scoured. The American Frontier became one of the last vestiges for a scavenging humanity. And hope rested on the shoulders of a child who harbors a secret so powerful even she cannot know its truth. A resistance The Free Legion vowed to protect her until destiny could rear its head, convinced she would bring peace. But the child, now a young woman named Ellie (JORDAN MCFADDEN), has fallen into the hands of General Chizum (BATES WILDER), a brutal warmonger bent on unveiling her secret and using it to tip the scales of power. With humanity in the balance, the Free Legion has dispatched two of their bravest to bring her back: Abel (STEVEN LUKE), the soldier of few words, and Tom Dixie (GARY GRAHAM), the cynical war vet. They make for an odd yet efficient pairing.Following a daring rescue from Chizum's shanty village, our heroes forge across rugged terrain primed to rendezvous with The Free Legion and bring Ellie back to safety. But adventure is never that easy. Soon our heroes have a revenge-driven General Chizum and his brutish army hot on their trail, guided by the eccentric tracker Dark Horse (DAVID MIDTHUNDER). And to make matters worse, the elusive Alien invaders have also set their sights on Ellie. Thus begins a great chase across the Great Apocalyptic Plains. This fantastic journey takes us through the treacherous Mineland (as explosive as it sounds), across the oppressive white bluffs of the Badlands, and of course, to the peaceful plains where the soulful Crispus Hansen (TONY TODD) and his clairvoyant partner Jebediah Strumm (DOUG JONES) roam with their merry traveling band of hopeful humans. Will Abel and Tom Dixie succeed in bringing Ellie to safety? Will General Chizum find the truth he seeks to gain ultimate control? Or will all of humanity fall prey to this harsh apocalyptic frontier? Prepare yourself. For the dust of war has far from settled.
