Fatto da Donne -- Spring Wine Dinner

With International Women's Day around the corner The Ladies aka Sher and Margherita thought it would be fun to have a wine dinner comprised solely of wines made by women. Turns out we didn't have to go far for some great finds. After a little poking around I was pleasantly surprised to see that the fermentations behind many of my favourite bottles have long been in the very capable hands of female winemakers.

The end result is a solid line-up of wines for the March 5th Wednesday Wine Dinner. It'll be a balanced blend of Domestic and European, all embodying the tenants of balance, honest winemaking, and drinkability.

The Nitty Gritty
Dinner will be a five course event starting at 7:30pm. All of our wine dinners are sat communally on the large tables at the center of the dining room the idea being that a smaller, more intimate format encourages conversation and general merry-making with your fellow diners. We hope that you'll take the opportunity to make some new friends.

The menu for the evening will be four savory courses followed by cheese in place of dessert. Each course will be paired with its own wine. Given the season at the time of the dinner we will be leaning towards a red wine heavy dinner.
