NWFF - Local Sightings-City Without a Home
(Dee McDonald, 2004, DV, 56min.) City Without a Home is an intimate glimpse into the lives of homeless men and women whose cutting street wisdom enables them to deal with a harsh reality most people are afraid to consider. These insightful and intriguing characters seek housing and stability as they struggle against barriers to self-sufficiency. This documentary captures first-hand details of a migrating homeless community occupying a blue tarp village in Seattle, Washington. In an effort to ensure their basic human needs are met, residents of Tent City manage their own crudely formed government.
