MAIA Mural Brigade
Art Forces and the MAIA Mural Brigade took an international team to Gaza to create collaborative murals about the universal right to water. It was a multi-media public-art project with artists, activists and youth from Palestine and around the world. Collaborators included Middle East Children's Alliance, Afaq Jadeeda and Estria Foundation's Water Writes project. Eight murals were painted at the sites of water purification systems being installed by the Middle East Children's Alliance, providing clean water to more than 34,000 children.
