4Pinter -A Festival of Shorts by Harold Pinter
Interwoven with short Pinter pieces will be a collection of one-acts that represent a large range of his career and explores some of Pinters favorite themes. With a married couple, "The Lover" investigates the authors insightful study of relationships, communication, and the games people play through dark eroticism and illicit desire. "The Interview" and "Trouble In the Works" deals with Pinters social satire and hilarious commentary on cultural absurdity. "Special Offer" and "The Black and White" delve into Pinters in-depth character studies through the lives of two young women and their fascinating and comical observations of the world they live in. Finally, "The New World Order" and "Press Conference" display Pinters intense and unflinching attack on the injustices of political machines and governing institutions that he so passionately demonstrated in his later years.
