A Salon of Virtuoso Guitar Music with Aaron Larget-Caplan, Classical Guitar
Hosts Van and Ron present an evening of solo classical guitar music with acclaimed guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan.

Fresh from concerts in Russia, Italy and on both US coasts, Boston-based classical guitarist, and Colorado native, Aaron Larget-Caplan presents a virtuoso program not to be missed. Performing music from Spain, Hungry, Japan and the US, Aaron paints vivid pictures of love and life through music. In this special salon setting listeners will have an intimate experience of live classical music.
Music of the East and West, explores unifying themes of nature, folk music and love, while expressing these ideas in each cultures unique musical language.
Seats: $20 - general $15 - students
The Artist's CDs will be available after the concert and a Meet-the-Artist-Reception will follow the program.

ABOUT AARON LARGET-CAPLAN Raised in Colorado, Aaron Larget-Caplan is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of music in Boston, and studied extensively with Russian master pedagogue Dmitry Goryachev, as well as David Leisner, Eliot Fisk, and flamenco with Jonthan "Juanito" Pascual. Larget-Caplan is the founder of the New Lullaby Project and the Spanish classical music and flamenco dance ensemble ¡Con Fuego! He has premiered more than 50 solo and chamber works by such composers as Daniel Pinkham, David Leisner, Scott Wheeler, Francine Trester, John McDonald, Ken Ueno, Kevin Siegfried and many more. His most recent recordings, Vientos (Albany Records) and New Lullaby (Six String Sound), received accolades from Fanfare, Audiophile and The American Record Guide. His premiere recording with the New England String Quartet of Thomas L. Read's Capricci was released in 2013 on Navona Records, his next solo album is due out in 2014. Larget-Caplan is currently on the guitar faculty at The Boston Conservatory and UMass Boston. He lives with his wife, healer and muse, Catherine in Boston.
