March 29: Big Farewell Concert for Third Thursday at Montclair Club
On Saturday March 29, a Celebratory Concert and Dance will be held at the Montclair Women's Cultural Arts Club in Oakland, CA. to honor the Third Thursday Women's Talent Showcase that ran there for 16 years. It is time to drop the curtain on this community institution that was coordinated over the years, in sequence by Alix Dobkin, Boo Price, Retts Scauzillo, and Janet Rachel. It will be an evening to remember with a revue representing the hundreds of women who shared their talents through the years.
The line up: Frankie (aka Retts Scauzillo) and the Frankettes, Debbie Fier and Sharon Page Ritchie, Ellen Robinson and Laura Klein, Karen Ripley and Annie Larson, Liquid Girlfriend, Bad Ass Boots, Rita Lackey, and Special Guest Alix Dobkin, followed by a Dance Celebration with Average Dyke Band and Azucar con Ache.
Yummy snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
