Music has always been a driving force in our lives and nowhere is that felt more prominently than in burlesque. Today's commercial music machine churns out pop hit after pop hit, taking a new and vibrant sound and molding it, crushing it, churning it into the next safe bet. Song writers are subjected to formulaic producers who turn out music that sounds like everything else on the radio dial. Where can a music consumer turn to find something fresh? On the March 8th, talented performers in the Seattle burlesque scene are taking a moment to revel the creativity, the intimacy, and the free spirit that comes from independent music. Let us expose you to new music.
