Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities.
The Sea to Sky Potters' Guild has created this event in partnership with the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre to raise fund for the food Banks in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.
Each ticket includes a handcrafted pottery bowl and your choice of soups created by chefs from Whistler restaurants along with bannock donated by the SLCC.
Tickets are sold on 2 tiers. The Tier you purchase determines the order in which you get to choose your bowl.
Tier 1-20 tickets at $150 for first choice of handcrafted pottery Bowls
Tier 2-100 tickets at $50 for the remaining handcrafted pottery Bowls
This event will also include:
An exciting Art filled silent auction.
Lucio Gelato scooped into handcrafted bowls made by Whistler Secondary School students for a $15 donation until bowls run out.
