The Mark Sandman Music Project Presents:Kris Delmhorst
Long-loved in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area, and often accompanied by mutual friends , Kris Delmhorst will be performing at the "new" Hi-n-Dry to help raise much needed funds for the Mark Sandman Music Project. The Mark Sandman Music Project, partnering with Hi-n-Dry, is in the new Armory Arts Center in Somerville. We are working on creating opportunities for young people to play and record music together. Participation in music is a community-building experience that also builds the self. We are striving to provide kids the means, the place, the mentors, and the materials to play. Our theory is simple: creative collaboration creates community. When we help kids be creative, we seed the community with creative thinkers. We think that's important and we hope you do, too!! We look forward to you coming to see Kris play, as well as joining us in our new space. The show is March 29, 2009, with doors at 4pm and the show beginning around 4:30pm. Tickets are $30., with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Sandman Music Project, also includes dinner immediately following the show.
