ACTING YOUR ACT: STORYTELLING THROUGH BURLESQUE w/ Üla Überbusen
6-7pm, $20 pre-reg/$25 drop-in
Improve your act and make your performances unforgettable! Drawing on her extensive training in acting, theatre and dance, Üla teaches the art of storytelling through the medium of burlesque. Many great dancers do beautiful routines that are lacking that special "something" that make them extraordinary. Using techniques found in her mentor's book, "The Actor As Storyteller," this workshop focuses on acting and specificity of movement to form a clear narrative skills that will put your act over the top.
No experience necessary, open to women and men. Please bring a notebook and wear clothes and shoes for comfortable movement.

CHAIR WORK w/ Deanna Danger
7-8pm, $20 pre-reg/ $25 drop-in
On it, around it, over it, about it, under it- learn all the different ways in which to best utilize your most sturdy on-stage friend, the chair. It's not just for sitting, it's for teasing and pleasing. Learn how to move with it, learn how it doesn't have to just sit still, and learn some fancy tricks to pull out of your glove. Chairs are provided.
Students should wear comfortable exercise clothing that doesn't restrict movement and bring a pair of sturdy heels. No experience necessary, open to both women and men.

STRIP FOR YOUR LOVER w/ Üla Überbusen
8-9pm, $20 pre-reg/ $25 drop-in
Have you always wanted to move like a burlesque goddess? Do you wish you could bring glamour and mystique to your personal life? In this class you will learn striptease techniques and how to apply them to your own wardrobe. Practice moves that exude femininity and embody sex appeal. Build body confidence and connect to your inner sexpot. Women come in all beautiful shapes and sizes and we can all be sexy goddesses. Get comfortable with your gorgeous, fabulous self and learn to thrill your lover as you disrobe.
Students should wear tight fitting, comfortable exercise clothing that doesn't restrict movement. Please also bring a pair of sturdy heels, a sexy bra, and a dress with a back zipper (no nudity is required). No experience necessary, open to women and female-identified performers.

FLOOR WORK & BOOTY POPPING w/ Porcelain
9-10pm, $20 pre-reg/ $25 drop-in
In this class, students will be getting down right dirty... in the sexiest & classiest way possible of course! Absolutely no amount of flexibility or dance experience is required, and all body shapes welcome! You don't need to be doing splits left and right to master the art of floorwork (though it certainly never hurts!). Students will learn how to master the art of leg work, creating sexy shapes with their bodies, and graceful ways of getting down and up off the floor. The second part of this class will address the ever popular, basic booty popping movement! Several variations of popping and shaking technique will be covered as well as one-cheek-at-a-time control. Bodacious booties will celebrate this class's techniques in subtlety AND the full enchilada!
Students should wear comfortable exercise clothing that doesn't restrict movement and bring a pair of sturdy heels. No experience necessary, open to both women and men.
