Do I Ever Tell Anyone This Happened?
Do I Ever Tell Anyone This Happened? is a night of painfully true stories from some of Seattle's most talented stand up comics. Each performer will tell a short story of embarrassment and triumph, leading up to a series of stories from feature Paul Barach. He'll end the night recounting his misadventures searching for shrapnel in Sarajevo, teaching in South Korea, getting beaten up by his karate sensei, walking a Buddhist pilgrimage, and bicycling across the US.
With stories by:
Allison Lizotte: Your host for the evening, Allison brings a warmhearted personality and quick wit to the stage. She has met Bruce Campbell. Respect.
Billy Anderson: A Georgia transplant, Billy has made a name for himself in the Seattle comedy scene as a talented stand up and producer, having recently returned from a comedy tour through all 50 states. He hasn't met Bruce Campbell, but he's liked anyway.
Danielle Gregoire: A Canadian, Danielle apologizes for producing the highly regarded Comedy Womb mic at the Rendezvous and for recently winning her first Moth StorySlam.
Emmett Montgomery: Storyteller, artist, and comedian, Emmett has performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, San Francisco's Sketchfest, and hosts the incomparable Weird and Awesome. He came to Seattle from Utah, where his beard is still wanted for questioning.
Douglas Gale: A Seattle comedy fixture, Douglas brings a sharp delivery to the stage that has garnered him multiple wins at the Seattle Moth StorySlam with tales of ill-conceived magic spells and murder plans that fell through.
Paul Barach: Writer, storyteller, and comic, Paul's brash delivery onstage lends itself well to his history of finding the humor in hard lessons from impulsive decisions. His accomplishments include: Falling into the La Brea Tarpits, being given a wooden sword by the mayor of Seoul, and only getting one DUI.
