Pedro Pan
It's 1962 in Havana, Cuba. To escape Fidel Castro's communist indoctrination, 13-year-old Elena and younger brother Manuel must travel alone to Miami, as part of Operation Pedro Pan. Once in Miami, unexpected circumstances pull them apart. Thus, they embark on the desperate pursuit to stay together, no matter the odds, until they can be reunited with their parents.

Dear Santa
Ann Dunham is an energetic and free-spirited girl who loves hockey, dance class, and video games. When Ann writes a letter to Santa asking him to turn her into a boy for Christmas, her request throws her conservative mother into a tailspin. Dear Santa is a lighthearted look at the complicated, funny, and sometimes dysfunctional ties that bind a family together.

Lady Luck
A family moves into a new home, filled with hope and expectation for the future ahead. With great joy and excitement they explore their new surroundings. Their only son Paul, a sensitive and shy 8 year old, finds to his great delight a rocking horse left behind by the previous owners of the house.  As Paul rides the horse he discovers it has magical powers. In an attempt to win the love of his distant mother, he rides the horse with powerful and unexpected results. The film is inspired by DH Lawrence's story 'The Rocking Horse Winner' and is set in a fairytale world.

Lantern
Molly is a young girl with a disability of one leg being much shorter than the other. She lives on the last island in her village, which is a series of rock pillars jutting out of the ocean. Late one night, as she is reading, Molly hears the sound of an approaching ship. She knows that the ship will crash in to the sharp rocks in the fog. Molly quickly decides she must warn them. She begins the long and difficult journey to the top of the hill, overcoming setbacks and the challenge of being disabled. Once she reaches the top of the hill, she must climb the huge tree and warn the ship that there is land ahead with her tiny lantern.

The Hero Pose

As the afternoon progresses, Mia and Joe uncover a lot about their relationship and end up connecting with one another in an unusual way.
