Wild Minds in Uncertain Times - An Evening in Ritual Storytelling
In a high tech world, humanity needs connection to the aliveness of living myth. A wild mind needs story as a way to sing the stories of the living world; a way of bringing wisdom, engagement, and insight to the greater human tribe.
Join Jeff Leinaweaver, storyteller, for an evening of mythsinging, reflection and ritual dialogue to enliven and deepen our aliveness in the ways of re-wilding our minds in uncertain times. This will be an evening of drumming, poetry and storytelling that explores the relevance and need for the telling of the old stories myths, folk tales and fairy tales from many different cultures around the world.
As a storyteller, Jeff shares in the telling of the old stories myths, folk tales and fairy tales from many different cultures around the world. Jeff believes the old stories are alive and inform us on how to deepen our connection with each other, nature and our own mythic journey.
Jeff has been a featured storyteller at the National Storytelling Network Festival Conference, and throughout the Pacific Northwest, including the Northwest Folklife Festival.
Also a voice-over actor and jazz vocalist, Jeff has lent his voice and talents to a wide variety of projects in radio, corporate and documentary narration and video games.
