The Listening Room Series
On March 21,2009 at 9:00 p.m. - The Admiral Theater presents, THE LISTENING ROOM, an intimate evening of acoustic music in the round starring: This week we have something new & exciting.
Classical, Flamenco and jazz guitarist Andre Feriante
Native American, Swil Kanim plays the rhythm of life with prose, poetry and violin.
Eric Fridrich delivers a sound rich in pop hooks, jazz tags and blues turnarounds.
We will also be featuring Seattle's favorite muralist/artist, live on stage creating a piece of art from scratch! Throughout the evening, the audience will conduct a silent auction, and at the end of the evening, the painting will be auctioned off. Wow!
Our performers take the stage, peeling away the flourishes of their music to reveal the essence at its core- resulting in a hallmark of personal, and exclusive concert performances. The Admirals listening room is a place where artists can discuss origins of their songs, both literally and emotionally, giving the listener true insight into the craft of song-writing.
