Finally the phone is ringing. It's some fast-talking agent from ICM who wants to rep you because of that killer half-hour comedy pilot or spec script you wrote. How did you get there? You took a rewrite class with TV writer Dan Gregor ("How I Met Your Mother"), that's how. In this five-week class, Dan will help you whip your script into shape. Through analyzing professional script samples you'll see how a first draft is honed into a final shooting draft. You'll learn how to punch-up jokes, tighten scenes, track story arcs and polish characters and dialogue. You'll even hear a full table read of your script so you can see how it's all playing on its feet. By the end of the class, you'll have everything you need to send that puppy out. Emmy not included.
