Imagine setting sail at night, coming ashore in France, or Japan, or China. Witness visions and passions arising from climate anxiety, the loss of a loved one, even from the casual grace of a soaring red-tailed hawk. These evocations and more will take you on a sonic voyage around the planet, as the music inspires your own visions and passions.
This exciting concert of new music will include works of Cascadia Composers: Carla K. Bartlett, Adam Eason, Brian T. Field, Zhengtao Pan, Paul Safar, Alex Shapira, Dawn Lenore Sonntag, Mark Vigil, Kirsten Volness, and Jeff Winslow. Performers will include: Colleen Adent, Casey Bozell, Diane Chaplin, Sarah Maines, Ben Milstein, Andrew Rose, Rebecca Stager and Luna Thompson-Aue.
Masking is welcome and encouraged, but is at your discretion. Proof of vaccination is no longer required for entry.
