A rare opportunity to meet with world renowned chef Ferran Adria in celebration of his book 'elBulli 20052011'.

Praised as the "Picasso of culinary arts," Ferran Adrià of the famed Spanish restaurant elBulli reached an unrivaled place in the food world by challenging the way we think about cuisine and, in turn, altering the world's understanding of the creative process itself. The seven volumes in this stunning catalogue raisonné comprise the first and only window into elBulli's final and most exceptional years. With 2,700 pages, 1,400 color photographs, more than 750 recipes, and an elegant acrylic presentation case, elBulli 2005-2011 is as much an object of beauty as it is a chronicle of Adrià's transformation from admired chef to culinary genius.

This private, invite only event will take place at Balena on Saturday, March 15th at 11:30 am. The cost of the event is $695, which includes the compendium of books (valued at $625), light appetizers, passed wines, time to meet the chef and have your copy personalized, and gratuity. You are also invited to the lecture, occuring at 12:30 PM, open to the public, valued at $95- gratis to you. Ticket price is exclusive of tax.
