BOOM: Tina Kelly

Staged reading of Bones, Bonez, Bone$ by Stacey Rose. It is a reconstruction of The Grimm Tale, The Singing Bone. Bones tells the story of a brother slain in a dark act of betrayal by his brothers. His bones, however, refuse to stay buried compelling the brothers and the audience to reckon or choose not to reckon with the legacy of our deeds.

BIO

Tina Kelly is a Charlotte born and based director that looks to tell the experiences of my community through my own marriage of rhythm, movement, and media. Her extensive experience in Charlotte theatre as a stage manager created the knowledge base necessary to confidently lead a team while executing her own concepts. Graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre from UNC-Charlotte in 2018, she has continued to direct in the Charlotte area. As an early career director, she has worked virtually and in person; in festival settings and her own productions.
