Bill Plympton's Guide to Oregon Animation History, Part 2 Oregon Sesquicentennial Film Festival
When Will Vinton opened his studio in Portland in the 1970's, he created an environment which made Portland one of the most animation friendly cities in the country. This program gives an overview of some of the world class artists who work with animation and call Portland home. Films by Will Vinton, Jim Blashfield, Joanna Priestley, Joan Gratz, Bill Plympton, Rose Bond, Chel White, and John Callahan. Co-sponsored by the Oregon Cartoon Institute.
