Napa Valley Tomato Gathering
Join Napa Valley Slow Food at Calistoga Cellars for a walk around tomato tasting of over 60 amazing varieties. Listen to
the challenges and joys of raising over 200 varieties of Tomato from the tomato queen,
Linda Tenbrink, the gardening genius behind the Fairfield Tomato
Festival. Also, Jeff Dawson (formerly of Copia and a 2006 Terre Madre Delegate) will join as as one of
Northern Calif's most successful and innovative tomato breeders. We'll enjoy an
authentic, al fresco, family style Italian feast with Chef Mariano
Orlando to close our afternoon.
You are welcome to bring two varieties of home grown tomatoes to add
to the walk-around tasting..we will vote for the top five best tasting
tomatoes! *Limited to 45 people*
