The second annual StageFest 2014 will feature more than 20 companies, over the course of three days of theatre, music and dance performances, at various stages within the magnificent and historic Landmark Loew's Jersey Theatre, in the heart of Journal Square in Jersey City, NJ. After a successful inaugural year, drawing over 600 audience members, Loew's is thrilled once again to offer patrons the opportunity to enjoy the excitement and vitality of live theatre.
Imagine that you arrive at the Loew's to see a play on the main stage, but discover a performance going on in a magnificent niche at the top of the stairs. Then after the play, you explore a display of historic costumes. After a quick snack from the café in the grand lobby, you enjoy a musical revue in the ornate salon upstairs. Before leaving, you watch an innovative dance performance in the grand lobby. StageFest 2014 will draw you in, away from the ordinary and will immerse you in the thrill of theatre - for a few hours, a day, or the weekend.
In addition to the performances, event Sponsor, Leading Lady Costumes (www.leadingladycostumes.net) will present a rare exhibit, throughout the building, of historic costumes from stage and screen. Light food and drink will be available from vendors in the main lobby throughout the weekend.
Tickets are available per day or for the entire weekend. There is a special for Saturday night, and teenagers enter free on Sunday!
