Mel Edison is a New York executive dealing with the pressures of the living in the big city. In the middle of a garage strike, dealing with noisy neighbors, and water fights with the man upstairs he gets "downsized" at work. Then he neurotic family shows up to "help" him. And you think that you've got porblems.... One of Neil Simon's most popular play which was also made into a movie starring Jack Lemon and Ann Bancroft.
