"Original Face: "Spirituality and Creativity in the Pursuit of Wholeness"
The famous Zen koan asks, "What was your original face before you were born?" The question is meant to confound the ego and open us to an experience of a deeper Self. This workshop is designed to open an exploration of your original and most authentic self, before the influence of the outside world seeped in. Through discussion, meditation and creative expression, we will provide a safe and thought-provoking forum for self-discovery. Facilitated by Peter Jabin and Darcy Marlow.
While the cost is $20, no one is ever turned away for inability to pay. Simply contact us (thewellqueenanne@gmail.com) and we will work something out with you.
This is part of The Well's current focus "Spiritual Identity, Multi-faith World." Other presenters include Julia Weaver (mandala workshop), Cornel West (Heschel and Peace), Susannah Heschel (Abraham Joshua Heschel and Interfaith Relationships), and Frank Schaefer (LGBTQI Struggles in the Church).
