Getsome Athletics 2nd Annual 4th of July Sur5al
Getsome Athletics is hosting a Sur5al Tournament July 4th from 10am-4pm!! The Royal Windsor ROllergirls are brilliant and came upwith this rad-tastic version of roler derby and for the second year in a row Getsome Athletics is bringin it to you!
You select 5 total skaters to make up your team, male or female we dont care but they must be 18 and over!
Your team of five will compete against all of the other teams in a full length jam, you cannot call off the jam so you get a 2 min jam every time!!!
This test of skill, power and endurance is a ton of fun and we play with a few different rules than the WFTDA rules set. Here are the rules variations:
-all jams are 2 mins long
-penalties are only 30 seconds long
-if your team wins the jam you ear 5 points
-if you tie both teams get 2 points
-if you earn lead jammer you get 1 point
This is for fun, bragging rights and $250!! The winning team wins cold hard cash!
