PEPS Parent Talk Lecture - Survival Skills for New Parents
Join Leslie Butterfield, PhD, of Postpartum International of Washington, Lisa Mennet, PhD of Cooper House and the Fussy Baby Network and Cal Ledbetter, MA, LMHCA for a discussion of how to survive and thrive during the early days of being a new parent!
We'll be addressing important topics that all new parents need to know: When is baby's crying a cause for concern? How do you soothe a crying baby? How do you take care of yourself as a new parent? What are some of the emotional changes new parents go through? How can fathers be involved with the care of their new babies? How can couples communicate with each other about their roles as new parents?
Bring your new or expectant parent questions and concerns, there will be time for Q & A!
PEPS aims to provide our Parent Talk lectures at a minimal cost to parents. The fee for this lecture is $15 or pay-what-you-can. Please help PEPS continue to provide programming of this type by paying the $15 fee if you are able to do so. **Each registration entitles you to bring your spouse or partner.**
Exciting drawings! We will draw for a $25 VISA gift card, donated by Verity Credit Union, and a New Parent Gift Basked donated by Bright Horizons. When you register for this event you are automatically entered into the drawings.
