Capital Burlesque Expo - Saturday Night
Ottawa's first annual Capital Burlesque Expo will unite a bevy of burlesque and variety performers from far and wide to celebrate the art of the strip tease. Ottawa's most revealing revival of the golden era of burlesque will display the glitz and glamour of years past as well as modernized performances for today's audience. This weekend event will tantalize and tease your every sense, with interactive workshops, performances, vendors, and of course plenty of shows! Join us April 4th, 5th and 6th 2014 for the Capital Burlesque Expo!
Saturday is an evening you don't want to miss! Featuring performances by some local favourites, as well as Velma Candyass (MTL), Kay Licious(Halifax), Canadian Burlesque Hall of Fame inductee, Tanya Cheex(TO), Professional Sensationalist, Amber Ray(NYC), and the first Canadian to be crowned reigning queen of burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas, Roxi D'Lite!! ...just to name a few!
Saturday's headlining event will take place at Barrymore's Music Hall(323 Bank St.) on the 5th of April, 2014. On top of the star studded show, there will be vendors and activities during the intermissions! So find a babysitter, get your ticket and start deciding on your outfit now!
