Curmudgeon at Edinburgh FC / EFC
Curmudgeon are a Lothian based folk band, who perform a wide range of music mainly from the Scottish tradition but including some contemporary songs and tunes from other countries.
The trio comprises ... Andrew Macintyre, a highly regarded piper who is frequently seen around the Edinburgh sessions. In Curmudgeon he plays Scottish Small Pipes (cauld wind pipes) and whistles and (when not doing either) he sings! Donald Gorman: a top class fiddle player, formerly with the band 'Seannachie' who recorded several superb albums in the nineties. Donald is also highly capable on mandola and mandolin. Laurie Brett: an accomplished guitarist from Essex who also plays whistles and provides the main vocals for the band.
As always, sweetie-rustlers will be ejected, but joiners-in on choruses are generally encouraged! Good fun ensues!
And good fun there was indeed at last year's Acoustic Music Centre when Curmudgeon sold out their show!

Accessibility
UCC has relatively easy access for wheelchair users. There's a portable ramp to enable the wheelchair to get past 3-4 steps from the street to the main door. Once inside everything is on the same level (ground floor) - performance room, bar and disabled-friendly toilets.
