2023 So Cal Dance Invitational presented by South Coast Dance Arts Alliance
5 outstanding companies, one night only, Saturday, May 6th in Long Beach, CA.
The So Cal Dance Invitational, presented by South Coast Dance Arts Alliance, will be
presented on Saturday, May 6th at 8pm at the Martha B Knoebel Dance Theater of Cal State
University Long Beach under the direction of Nannette Brodie. The five Southern California dance companies and choreographers are Andrew Vaca, BrockusRED, Fuse Dance Company, Jazz Spectrum Dance Company and Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre. This is the 10th presentation of the So Cal Dance Invitational, which was last presented in 2020.
The festival is supported in part by the City of Long Beach, the Arts Council for Long Beach and the RuMBa Foundation of Long Beach.
We are featuring about 30 performers in the festival from Los Angeles County and Orange
County for this esteemed event. Each dance company will present one to four works in the
program.
The So Cal Dance Invitational mission is to provide access to professional concert dance to the public and to connect the diverse dance community of Southern California.
Tickets for the So-Cal Dance Invitational are $35 general admission and $25 for students.
