Motherhood Out Loud
The Creation of another Human Being
conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein

Directed by Terry Kerr

"Motherhood Out Loud" at Alley Stage will leave you laughing, crying, and wanting to call your mom.

Chances are you know a mother. Maybe you are a mother, maybe you're married to a mother  maybe you have a mother who drives you crazy. But, do you really understand motherhood? Even if you are a mother, do you know how other mothers feel? If you're not a mother, do you know what your mother has gone through?

Motherhood Out Loud is a compilation written by different mothers and even a few fathers. Conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein, it examines the joy, the fear, the pain, and the pride that is parenthood. It's okay if you haven't had a child  the stories will pull at your heartstrings and will tickle your funny bone.

Regionally-acclaimed director Terry Kerr leads a brilliant cast in this touching look at the enormous responsibility that is parenthood. Cast includes Kimberli Maloy, Roland Sardeson, Rebecca Raether, Deb Baxter, Terry Kiss Frank, and Alicia McCanna with music by Dan O'Brien.

Shows run Thursday-Saturday, June 19-28 7:30pm at Alley Stage at Shake Rag Alley, 18 Shake Rag Street, Mineral Point. In the occurrence of rain the show will be moved to the Shake Rag Alley Quonset Hut on the corners of Hwy 23 and Shake Rag Street in Mineral Point.

This play contains mature content and language.
