SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL Presents:
VALERIE PIACENTI in "Just Here For the Music"
Imbibe in the rich song stylings of Valerie Piacenti and Nick Moore as they share some of their favorite musical arrangements from a variety of genres and eras.
ABOUT VALERIE PIACENTI
Valerie Piacenti, originally from the Chicago area, has made Seattle her home for the past 35 years. She's performed at many local venues, including Seattle Repertory Theatre, Cabaret de Paris, Kirkland Performance Center and The 5th Avenue Theatre. She was the soprano soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet's SILVER LINING, including the London production accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic. While living in NYC, Valerie made her Broadway debut in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, starring Kevin Kline. Valerie's show CHAPTERS, about life in the theatre, premiered at Egan's in 2018. She and Nick are delighted to be back on this year's bill!

HEATHER WARD with SHAINA WARD SIEGEL in "Trailblazing Tunesmiths"
A celebration of some of the female singers who paved a glittering path into popular music by composing their own songs.
ABOUT HEATHER WARD and SHAINA WARD SIEGEL
Heather hails from the Great White North (Toronto area) but has lived in Seattle since 1998. She's been an artist and singer her whole life, and went to college for each discipline. Heather maintains a painting studio and performs in jazz venues, cabarets, theatre, and with the Dickens Carolers since 2005. Shaina has also performed their whole life, but fell in love with the bass and music irrevocably in middle school. This is their third year in Seattle Cabaret Festival; you may also have seen them with theater company Hello Earth, Seattle SketchFest, and at various venues around the city.
Showtime: 9:00 PM. Doors open at 8:30.
