SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL Presents:
LAURIE CLOTHIER is "Shameless"
Join Laurie for a romp through favorite songs performed during the heyday of the Crêpe de Paris. Songs about love and life: some classic, some obscure, some even a wee bit risqué (not to offend ... perhaps to blush). A fabulous time, with Jose Gonzales tickling the ivories.
ABOUT LAURIE CLOTHIER
Laurie has worked extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as in Western Canada. At various times. she's been a regular at The 5th Avenue Theatre, sailed the Caribbean as a featured vocalist for NCL, toured regionally and then discovered her niche performing multiple one-woman cabaret shows. Favorite theatre experiences include any cabaret work, Janet in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, Zubbediya in KISMET, Margie in FOLLIES, Clo-Clo in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and Sabina in SKIN OF OUR TEETH.

SIREN + SINEWAVE in "American Annees Folles: France cirque 1920s"
It was the jazz age, and minds were exploding with expression following war... one hundred years later, emergence from natural (and unnatural) disasters. Fall in love again, pour a glass of Absinthe, and let Siren +Sinewave soothe.
ABOUT SIREN + SINEWAVE
Siren + Sinewave are Carla Hilderbrand (lead vocals, keyboards) and Ted Lim (backing vocals, upright bass, lap steel), both staples in the Seattle music education scene. Ted is a veteran rock, blues and Americana bass and guitar player (Carolyn Wonderland Band, Rachel Carrington, Dusthorses, Anthony Phillips Band, Cult of Ted). Carla hails from the classical music world and has performed as a soloist with companies including Portland Opera, Seattle Opera, Seattle Youth Symphony, and Orchestra Seattle/Seattle Chambers Singers.
Showtime: 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00.
