Music at Gore Place Presents: O'Carolan Etcetera
O'Carolan Etcetera brings to life the legacy of Turlough O'Carolan, the 18th century Irish harper whose instrumental compositions are among the most enduring and spirited in the Celtic tradition. Also, selections from three centuries of traditional instrumental music: early English dance tunes, Irish jigs, and Scottish airs; reels from old New England that set toes a-tapping; and not to be missed French Canadian tunes played on the hurdy gurdy. $9, $6 members and ages 5-12 (all fees incl.)
