PTH: Second Saturday Sessions - Cypress
Cypress is the project of singer-songwriter Ben Higginbotham. Currently based in Queens, NY but originally from Dallas, TX Ben formed the group in 2017 with several friends from college. His melodic songwriting allows his lyrics to shine in a way that evokes artists such as Ray LaMontagne, Maggie Rogers, or John Mayer.
Their debut EP A Fine Line was recorded in Austin, TX by long-time collaborator Taylor Tatsch. Their next single Take Me Back was produced by Kyle Thornton (Floyd Fuji), followed by Running Like The Wind, another Taylor Tatsch collaboration. There is new music on the horizon, intended for release in Spring 2023.
