After your felt has dried, you may either join the needle felting wool painting class or use the instructors felt cutting machine to make a flower crown.
$20 material fee holds your reservation. Class limit 10.  No experience needed.  Please wear clothing that is loose and can get wet as working felt is a physical activity.

Join us for the delights of the dry adaptation of felting.  In this class we will cover how to make your wool painting look more realistic by adding highlights and lowlights to your creation through needle felting.  This class is no less fun than the wet-felting class, but is decidedly drier and less of a workout. Participants will create a series of needle felted coasters as their final product.
$20 materials fee holds your reservation.  Class limit 10. No experience needed.  Bring a box of Band-Aids with you.  Current Tetanus vaccination is recommended.

Small Sheep Flock Improvement with Pierre Monnat of M&P Ranches:
This day long hands-on clinic will introduce new sheep producers and established sheep producers to a variety of topics with which to hone skills necessary to maintaining a healthy and productive flock of sheep. We will focus on a few key areas, with an emphasis on a goal-oriented approach to a healthy flock of sheep. Questions and goals are what inevitably drive many of our management and business decisions. What market am I trying to serve? How can I increase the yield and make my wool finer? Where can I get my specialty breed wool processed? How can I better set-up my handling system in order to make sheep flow better? We will cover some of the most important topics in order to try to answer some of these questions. Breeding and selection, feed and feed additives, pasture and rangeland use, lambing management, shearing and wool handling, basic veterinary care, and business management will be some of the topics covered. Each participant is encouraged to attend this session with a set of questions and goals for flock improvement. Guided by a Klickitat County sheep rancher and sheep shearer.

Goat Care Essentials with Sonya Shields:
Join us for a multi-faceted day of goat care basics. We will cover hoof care, feed requirements, kidding, tattooing, milking. We will also be diving a little deeper to include what to keep in your goat tool/medicine kit, vaccines, deworming, mineral needs, how to draw blood for disease testing, tagging and more! If there's interest we can also go over clipping and basics of showmanship.
