Series - Mourning Sickness Visiting Artist
DIFFERENT PLACES!
The cornerstone of cult cinema makes its GRAND RETURN to Mourning Sickness for its ANNUAL SCREENING!
Showgirls is that singular film thats so bad its good, and so good its bad. Elizabeth Berkley (Saved By the Bell) stars as our heroine Nomi Malone, hitchhiking across DIFFERENT PLACES! as she chases her showgirl dreams. She ends up in Las Vegas, only to become trapped in the seedy underbelly of the strip clubs of the Vegas strip, where she meets the esteemed and prestigious Cristal Connors played by Gina Gershon (Bound). Can Cristal teach Nomi how to take the cash and cash the checks and show them what they want to see? Or tear her down and destroy her, keeping the spotlight all for herself? Only one thing is absolutely certain Its a VERSAYCE!
(Paul Verhoeven, US & France, 1995, 128 min, in English)

Accessibility
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at maria@nwfilmforum.org
