Gus Van Sant and James Ivory kick off the Oregon Sesquicentennial Film Festival with an onstage conversation about screenwriting, and the collaborative relationship between screenwriter and director. Three time Oscar nominee James Ivory grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Two time Oscar nominee Gus Van Sant is from Portland.
