Voltaire & The Skeletal Orchestra
On his Maiden Voyage tour of 2008, Voltaire set sail on a solo
acoustic tour of the states.Now he returns and he's brought
reinforcements! Along for the voyage is his cadre of gypsy pirates to
bring strings, driving rhythms and accordion to his
unique brew of Olde world mayhem.
It's upbeat and low-brow Victorian hijinks of the macabre kind, as
Voltaire and the band stomp through songs about Zombie Prostitutes,
The Day of the Dead and other sardonic subjects. Expect to hear songs
from the latest CD, "To The Bottom of the Sea" as well as old
favorites, including their hits from the Cartoon Network show, "The
Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy".
