Triveni presents: The Sacred and The Sensuous
*A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for the Sunday April 20th show. Please arrive at 3:30pm to purchase tickets.
There are countless legends told about the great Lord Krishna. While these stories are larger than life, they are dwarfed by tales of the great women that he loved. Neena Gulati and the Triveni Ensemble proudly present "The Sacred and the Sensuous," a show that captures the spectrum of love for Lord Krishna, from longing, to desire, to surrender. The performance will explore the captivating stories of Yashoda, Radha, Satyabhama, Mira and the milkmaids. Each woman has a unique experience in loving the unpredictable Lord Krishna. Enjoy a spectacular display of traditional, vivid, and vibrant dances performed to contemporary music.
Join the Triveni Ensemble at the Boston University Dance Theater on Saturday April 19th at 6:30pm and Sunday April 20th at 4:00pm. Email TriveniEnsemble@gmail.com with any questions. Proceeds will benefit the Akshaya Patra Foundation (www.foodforeducation.org)
Parking is available at the Agganis Arena parking garage (Lot A) and surface lot C-2 for $10. For more info, please visit: http://www.bu.edu/fitrec/membership/services/parking.shtml
