Writing with Trees
How do we slow down enough to really see the ecosystem of which we are a part and dependant upon? Thoreau and other's wrote powerfully about Nature by being fully present to nature. Participants will receive excerpted readings from Henry David Thoreau and Linda Hogan.
This event at the Nisqually Refuge will invite us to be present with and deeply connect with the beauty of our surroundings - to deepen our awareness and develop a real sense of place and our relationship to it. We are in the Presence of the bounty of life and connecting to the Spirit of it. Then using queries and writing prompts we will journal about our experience.
