JORI COSTELLO is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performer, playwright, visual artist, and teacher. In her fifth decade of performing, Jori has been in several bands, choirs, been a solo performer, a dance DJ, radio host, festival emcee, and has been delving into her lifelong love of acting.
In Fayetteville, Jori is well known for her involvement with OMNI Open Mic for Peace, leading songs at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville, performing and nationally touring with the band Big Bad Gina, and for her active contribution to womens community at large and other local groups and events. On the radio, you can hear Joris womens music radio show, Go Sistah Go as DJ Sistah JoJo! Tune in Fridays at 3pm CST on your community radio, KPSQ 97.3FM or online at KPSQ.org.
Among her accomplishments, shes received winning recognition in the Ozark Music Awards Folk Artist of the Year for 2002 and Best Solo Female Singer/Songwriter for the 2005 Northwest Arkansas Music Awards (NAMA). Joris first CD, Home Grown was nominated Best CD in the Ozark region. She has been featured on many compilations including her song, War Games on the OMNI Peace Centers Peace CD, her song, Past the Pain for the Arkansas Childrens Shelter, and in 2016, her song, Are You There? was included on the Green Burial CD, Livin and Dying. Big Bad Gina, awarded Best New Band in 2012, currently has 3 CDs featuring original songs by each band member as well as arrangements of iconic womens music.

Nancy Scott is a long-time performer who has been instrumental in encouraging other artists and promoting women's music. She hosted a monthly singer-songwriter circle at Patsy's Café in Austin for 9 years and she encourages new performers, while hosting the Living Room stage at NWMF every year. For over 45 years she has been creating songs, ranging from folk to blues blended with a touch of country, that draw upon her daily experiences and express her soul. She was selected for NWMFs open mic in 2004 and performed on the Spotlight Stage in 2007. In addition to her solo gigs, Nancy has played in the Peoples Orchestra of Austin and joined other musicians at Texas women's prisons, performed at benefits, and also did kid's shows for 6 years in the 90's. Her most recent recording is Heartprints in Clay, 1995. A new recording will be in the works within the year. She received the NWMF Jane Schliessman Award for Contributions to Women's Music in 2018.
