Out of Order Improv Night
Out of Order has been performing for audiences in NJ and NY for over seven years. We're a troupe made up of actors, writers, designers, illustrators, painters, waiters, soldiers, nerds, marketers, geeks, artists, musicians and comedians. The group was founded by Kym Frank and along with "OoO" veterans Omar Kozarsky and Jess Prekel, it grew to include current cast members Dave O'Neill, Russ Crespolini and Joe Guadara. Years later, long time friend and fan Jason Victor joined the gang, and most recently, the incomparable Tom Wright. On piano for our improv music scenes, Dr. John Pierce. Improvisational Comedy is a form of theater where the actors make up their performances on the spot based on suggestions supplied by the audience. Most or all of what we perform is created at the moment it is performed. In its purest form, the dialogue, the action, the story and the characters are created collaboratively by the players as the improvisation unfolds. Out of Order specializes in short form improvisational comedy, and the shows consist of several small scenes or games much like the format of the television show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?"
So we hope you join us for an evening of laughs and surprises at Studio Players, 14 Alvin Place, Upper Montclair (off Valley Road).
