Basic Rose Care
Roses, often referred to as the queen of flowers, are thought to be fussy and difficult to grow. But with routine care, they are often quite resilient.
UC Master Gardeners Debra Stone and Suzanne Cooke will introduce you to some simple techniques that encourage healthy, vigorous, and beautiful roses. Theyll talk about summer and winter pruning, as well as basic watering, mulching, and fertilizing, followed by a discussion of rose disorders and pests and how you can avoid them.
