The 5th Annual Bonne Fête Fundraiser
Join us for a night of food, music, more food, beverages, a silent auction, raffle, and another spin around the sun from yours truly.
On February 24, I celebrate my birthday. In lieu of gifts, I would like to honour, and raise money for two organizations that are very near + dear to me: Home for Hooves Farm Sanctuary, and Hugabull Advocacy and Rescue.
Home for Hooves is a volunteer run, registered charity organization in Duncan BC, that offers a forever home for rescued farm animals who are abandoned, seized by the S.P.C.A., or surrendered due to various circumstances. They care for 180 residents.
Hugabull Advocacy and Rescue is committed to rescue, advocacy, and outreach for block-headed dogs [pibbles].They advocate for ethical rescue, the responsible guardianship of all breeds, for evidence-based, breed-neutral laws [and is the reason that I met one of my dearest friends, and two pitbulls who mean the world to me~ Elsie and Audrey.]

++ 100% of the proceeds raised from this initiative will be split between Home for Hooves Farm Sanctuary, and Hugabull Advocacy and Rescue. ++
Home for Hooves' current funding priorities are an orthosis for Pirate the pig's leg, a post hole auger attachment for their tractor to build fences, and a Forever Home for Hooves; their major fundraising campaign as they look for a new sanctuary property.
One of the Hugabull individuals you'll be supporting is Brix. Before he came into the care of Hugabull, Brix couldn't tolerate being in a kennel environment, and injured himself trying to escape. All of his canine teeth are cracked, and he will need to undergo major surgery. Brix is a super sweet dog who loves every person and dog he meets. Hugabull will get him the care he deserves, and help ensure he is more comfortable.

You know what's awesome? Community care. To support the folks in our community who still may be impacted by COVID-19 in any capacity, please take a rapid test before you attend. These are still readily available at most major pharmacies, and are free.
This event takes place on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations
