Canadian singer/songwriter Garnet Rogers is a man with a powerful physical presence - close to six and a half feet tall - with a voice to match. He sings in cinematic detail about people who are not obvious heroes and of the small victories of the everyday, carrying his audience from song to song with memorable stories and quips. With his "smooth, dark baritone" (Washington Post), his incredible range, and thoughtful, dramatic phrasing, Garnet is a favorite of folk fans.
He has been featured on numerous television and radio programs, including NPR's All Things Considered. Garnet Rogers asks audience members to bring donations of non-perishable food and useful personal care items such as shampoo and toothpaste. Caff Lena will bring the donated items to Saratoga EOC's food pantry. Thanks for supporting our local food bank.
