Other Roads at Edinburgh FC / EFC
Other Roads is one of the finest contemporary folk bands to emerge from the UK in recent years. Based in the UK, they also tour regularly in Holland, Germany, Denmark, Spain and New Zealand, and continue to gain popularity in new countries across the globe.
Pete Abbott, Gregor Borland and Dave Walmisley draw upon their diverse backgrounds in Scotland, England and Africa to create an exciting and original sound. These talented multi-instrumentalists incorporate fiddle, bouzouki, guitars and mandolin with some extremely fine harmony singing. Their music is an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary and mostly original compositions, ranging from soft lilting ballads to foot-stomping Celtic fiddle tunes and choruses.
With some expert musicianship, infectious enthusiasm and a touch of humour, Other Roads polished performances are highly entertaining and extremely popular.

UCC has relatively easy access for wheelchair users. There's a portable ramp to enable the wheelchair to get past 3-4 steps from the street to the main door. Once inside everything is on the same level (ground floor) - performance room, bar and disabled-friendly toilets.
