Marcus Borg, Joan Chittister Panel Event on Non-Violence
Marcus Borg, Canon Theologian at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Oregon, Joan Chittister, executive director of Benetvision and John Dominic Crossan, Professor Emeritus in Religious Studies at DePaul University, will give a series of presentations on non-violence. Panel members will present an overview of a world of justice and peace in the Bible, exploring examples and illustrating the implications of "The Dream of God" for Christians today. Sessions include presentations by 3 internationally known authors and lecturers, dialogue between speakers and Q & A with the audience.
