TwoPoint4 Dance 10th Anniversary Show
Join TwoPoint4 Dance Theatre for an unforgettable evening of celebration as we mark our 10th Anniversary with a special performance on April 28th, 29th, and 30th. The show will feature a diverse range of pieces that showcase the talent, creativity and versatility of the company.
"Sweat" (2021), choreographed by William McCray. A high energy piece showcasing the joy of dance, blending contemporary and hip hop influences. A fever dream of movement, music and the pure pleasure of sweating it out on the dance floor.
"Thoughts and Prayers" (2017) choreographed by Tony Nguyen, is a poignant and powerful piece that tackles the issue of gun violence in America and the emotions that come with it. The dancers use movement to express the humanity of the tragic stories at the forefront.
"Catching the Ground" (2013) choreographed by Tony Nguyen, Emilee Mercado, Diego Campos, and Christine Crooks is the ground breaking and captivating piece that explores the relationship between reality and imagination. This physically demanding piece features lots of partner work and will leave you on the edge of your seat.
Back by popular demand, "Cracked" (2013), choreographed by Tony Nguyen, Diego Campos, and Emilee Mercado. This is a witty and humorous piece that explores the comedic side of physical theater, accompanied by live piano music. It's a fun, lighthearted and clever performance that will hopefully have you laughing out loud.
And finally, "Decennium" (2023), choreographed by Emilee Mercado and William McCray, a new choreography that celebrates the company's 10-year anniversary. It's a high-flying, dizzying, innovative tribute to the company's journey.
