What Would You Do If......?? Andy Greensfelter
We all like to believe that we know how we would respond to a life-and/or-death situation. But do we really? Non-threatening simulation games can be both fun and revelatory.
This class builds on a survival hypothetical: We are all passengers on a flight that crash-lands in the subarctic. We all survive the crash with only minor physical injuries, but the plane is in danger of sinking. What do we as individuals, and we as a collective, need to do to escape the plane and survive until rescuers arrive?
We will explore our options and priorities both as individuals and in groups. Will we be able to find consensus as to what is practical, legal, ethical, moral?
Andy Greensfelter taught legal writing at Washington University School of Law from about 1967-1970. Attorney from 1967-2002. Have taught 2 previous LLCC courses. Special knowledge: I took the proposed course as a part of my law firm's retreat in about 1984
